Can i get to Brooklyn from here?

Yes

Where is the whispering wall? What's the best directions to it of you enter off 42nd street?

It’s outside of the Grand Central Oyster Bar & xRestaurant. The 4 corners can be used to whisper back and forth. Walk down to lower concourse level towards the food court.

Is there a map of GCT? I can never find anything especially the food court. Entering from 42nd and Park.

The FC is easy, because its down Stars. GO to the main Hall and take the stairs on either side.

How many levels are there in GCS?

There are two levels: The upper level & The lower level

Does Third Level really exist which can take you to Galesburg ??

No.

Does weather affect the train schedule

Usually NO. But it depends on how bad the weather is ...

Is there an area in Grand Central Station that luggage could be store for awhile?

I don't think so

I need to get to Mt Vernon on the Metro NORTH. WHAT TERMIBAL AT GRAND CENTRAL STATION SHOYLD I BE

You need to take the Train to Stamford, 2 stops until MT Vernon East. You should see it in the Station's information screens

how far is grand central terminal from port authority. can you take the subway from there

My favorite place down here is Magnolias Bakery and Tasty Krust Jamaican food. They have a Shake Shack ( always a long line ) and a nice variety of other foods. The bathrooms are usually very clean and always crowded. Seating can be somewhat of a challenge. Which brings me to my three star rating. This place is filled with homeless people sleeping on the benches and taking up seats for long periods of time. They have security that roam around constantly. So they are well aware of the situation. Depending on the day you visit, it could be better or worse. If it’s raining or freezing outside they are there in droves.

Unfortunately, I have to give it a 3 star, because as of feb.2020 there are barely any seats to eat downstairs and most of them are filled with homeless people, a lot of them. There’s a lot of weird characters hanging around down there. The food is good, many choices , but Where’s the POLICE?

The experience here was so bad last time. I was sitting at the food court, when a guy from the crew started total people out in a mean mood. It was 6pm. I won't come again. Pretty bad...

The lower level of the Grand Central Terminal is a large food court area known as the Dining Concourse. There are very affordable dining options and nifty train-inspired seating. It's a great place to recharge while touring through NYC, and it has the best/cleanest public bathroom in the area. It usually doesn't get too crowded as most people don't venture underground when they visit the Grand Central Terminal. The busiest times is during weekday lunch, but usually the crowd also moves very quickly too.

Food stalls of all sorts and calibres. American, Asian, Latin, European... Some seating and tables are available, as well as countertop dining (standing like a cow). Overall pricing not too bad given the captive audience. Free wi-fi!

How could you not love the Grand Central??is really anything that you can think of down there from coffee to desert two little stacks to just generally good food.. of course I love to people-watch it's loud there..sometimes I can only stay for a short. Of time but nonetheless it's always an experience that I have to have when I'm in New York

Perfect for a pit stop on your way to your final destination. Has doughnuts, a magnolia bakery, a shake shack, Latin food, indian, they have convenient little tables too eat in too. Located in the basement of Grand Central. Cant be missed as a destination onto itself or when just passing by.
